November, December & January

Hellooo my lovely readers!!!

So... This is the first half of a really quick overview of the main things that have happened in my life in the last... Five-ish months - WOW!! I didn't realize it had been that long... :P
Anyways... Here you go. :)

I sat all my WACE exams in early November...
(The dates marked on my calender, in order are... Physics exam, english exam, economics exam, maths exam, graduation (:D) and the arrival of my boyfriend!!!!!)
This proved to be interesting, as the river between us and the primary school where I did my exams was up a lot of the time. So I arrived to several of my exams at least slightly wet. :( Very glad they're all over!!!

At the beginning of December, my family and I drove down to Perth for my graduation.
The long tiring days of traveling got boring, so my sister and I livened them up a bit! (Isn't it interesting how sitting on your backside all day, in a car, doing nothing, can tire you out so extremely much!?!?)
One of the ways we did this was with dried apple rings... :P We caused many laughing fits! :D
Cause we're just so cool like that! ;) hehe it was fun anyways..
Along the way, we stopped for two nights in Denham, to have a bit of a breather from sitting in the car...
Whilst we were there, my siblings and I discovered a playground! I went on swings and a slide for the first time in agesss!! :D
I may have had a ridiculously large amount of fun acting like a little kid... :P Cause I'm so mature...

On the 6th of December, I graduated! Ah, what a relief to have school over and done with!! No more due dates, no more long study hours, no more tests and exams... Yay!! (That is unless I end up deciding to do some course at uni.. But I doubt that's going to happen any time soon! :P )
Me - receiving my leavers certificate from the school principal. :D (Sorry about the bad quality - photo of a photo)
My SIDE (Schools of Isolated and Distance Education) leavers shirt. :D My name is on the top right hand corner... Upside down unfortunately.. :P
I was awarded the Caltex Best All Rounder award. ("This award recognizes participation and excellence in academic, leadership, sporting and community service activities. Caltex is proud to bring this student to your notice as someone judged by their school and peers as participating actively in all aspects of school life. We expect the outstanding standards achieved by the student during school life will continue in the future.") (Sorry, photo of a photo again..)

I got a medal as part of the award. :)
And at graduation, I FINALLY GOT TO MEET THE GORGEOUS MIKAELA!!! :D If you haven't checked out her blog yet, please do so! I'm sure she'd love to hear what you think of her photography. :)

On the 9th of December, my boyfriend flew over from Melbourne!!! It was the first time we'd seen each other in over 10 months, so it was fabulous to see him again!!
Meeting him at Perth airport - the first photo of us since we started going out. :)
He traveled back home with us.. Enduring the longgg annoying days, being cramped in the car... :P
He spent all of December and January with my family and I, up here in the middle of 'whoop whoop' - thankfully he enjoyed himself. :P We all had a lot of fun. :D
Christmas Day... :)
We went out to an awesomely beautiful gorge at one point while he was here - it was marvelous having him visit... One of the reasons being that having a visitor gave us a reason to get out and go relax at awesome places a bit more often! :D hehe

Well, that's it for now... Sometime, hopefully not too far away, the last half of this blog post will come, with the other exciting stuff that's been happening in my life! :D
Until then,
Keep Smiling!! :)

My crafty side!!

Goodness me... What a crazy last few months I have had! So sorry for not writing a blog in so long, but I just haven't had any time!! :(

Soon I will write a blog post about what's been happening the last few months, but at the moment I STILL don't have enough time, so here's some photos of some of the things I've made in the last few months. :D
I drew a 'Neeta Swirl' for one of my close friends as a graduation present. (She's an amazing photographer by the way. Check Mikaela out!!)

I drew a 'Neeta Swirl' for my boyfriends parents/family as a Christmas present. :D
(Keep an eye on my blog... Sometime in the next few weeks I hope to have my 'Neeta Swirl' business up and running with a facebook page and potentially even a website and I'll be posting the links on my blog. I'd really appreciate your support!)

I crocheted cute little baby booties for my potential future baby daughter! hehe

I crocheted a cute little baby bonnet to match. :D

And even a cute little cardigan/sweater... :) (Then I took a doll I've had since I was like 10, and used her as a model :P )

I was so pleased that I've learned to follow crochet patterns!! And I was ecstatic about how cute the clothes turned out. :D They've all gone into my 'glory box' ready for when I (hopefully) get married and have children. :)

I crocheted a doll for my boyfriend's little sister, for Christmas... It was my own pattern - well, I kinda made it up as I went along.. :P

I've started crocheting a large blanket - just cause I can...

And I made a pair of bottomless sandals for my boyfriend's older sister, for Christmas. I invented my own pattern from a picture. :D

Yep, that's about the extent of my craftiness in the last few months... :P It's been quite a lot of fun! :D Let me know what you think of my work, cause I loveee comments!! :)

Keep smiling!! :D

Latest Happenings

Heyyyooo! :)
So I know I haven't written a post for a while, but I've been busy.... I'm currently studying for my year 12 mock WACE exams next week, but when I haven't been doing that, there's been other stuff to snag my attention. (All of these are my photos, so please no touchy touchy)

In the last week of August/first week of September, I went down to a 'school camp' in Perth. It was actually more like a study camp, but I got to meet/catch up with each of my teachers for maybe half an hour, so that was good.

We went to TAFE, which was pretty cool...

We also went to Curtin Uni which was pretty sweet...
But most of the time we just did school/studied... Which wasn't as fun... :P It was kinda weird being around people my age again, but I think it was good all round...

On the flight back home, the sky was like AMAZING!!!!

The clouds were so cute and fluffy and (insert little delighted 'eep' type noise here :P )

The ground around Perth area was so green and like... Pristine...
But the Kimberley area was so red and like... Barren...
But I love them both!! Just the contrast was awesome!!

When we were about to land, I took photos of the landing... It was intriguing the way it changed from water, to mangroves, to houses and streets... Beautiful! :D
After getting home, I've been (in my 'spare time') doing some drawing...
This is a Neeta Swirl I'm working on for one of my best friends...
This is a rough sketch I did one night when I couldn't sleep.... I'm hoping to colour it up and make it look good...
I don't know what I'd do without my feet.... They're so useful...!!!!

I also did a photoshoot with my sister one Sunday when we were dressed up nicely, and actually looked presentable!!

We played a little bit of peek-a-boo!! Cause we're so mature.... :P

We did some modelling... Cause we're such.. ahem.. model material... ;)

Photographed our dirty bare feet.... I mean come on... Who goes walking through the bush in bare feet... But wearing pretty dresses/skirts and photographing each other...!? hehe us...!! :D

We attacked my brother's punching bag... Because it's just such ladylike behaviour - especially in a skirt... :P

Climbed up anthills and tried to look domineering/empowered!!!!

Laughed a LOT!!

And just had fun!!!! :D

Of course, Milo just HAD to join in!!! No way could we leave him out.. :P

He played the gentleman very nicely!! ;)

And we became spies on a secret mission!! On the look out for any unusual behaviour... :D

And yeah... The three of us had an awesome time!! :)

Lately, we've been having some B-E-A-U-T-I-F-U-L sunsets/sunrises etc. Unfortunately, cameras can never capture just how truly gorgeous they are... :(

This was what the moon looked like the other night... Zoom on my camera is terrible, so this had to do.. :/ But it was amazingly orange and clear and so prettyyyy!!!!

This was a sunset the other night... There wasn't really colours surrounding it, and the camera doesn't show it.. But everything was bathed in an orange glow!!! :)

Then a sunrise the other morning... I got up early to try and get some extra school time...

Then this gorgeous sunset just recently! There was like a wispyness surrounding the sun and the sky was pink and it was so cute!!!!

So yeah.. Apart from the gruelling exam revision/study, this is some of what I've been up to... On the topic of school..... This is what my desk currently looks like :P
Keep smiling!! :D
